Eight programs at the bachelor level including Surgeon and Obstetrician, taught at five centers of Universidad de Guadalajara\u2019s (UdG) network, as well as, bachelor’s degrees in Physical Culture and Sports, Nursing, Dental Surgery, Nutrition, Psychology and a Senior Technician in Radiology and Imaging, received the international accreditation that supports their quality of first place for the next five years.<\/p>\n
At the ceremony, Fernando Daniels, the Executive Director of the College of the Americas (COLAM)<\/em><\/strong> of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE)<\/em><\/strong> was present and he explained the process of international accreditation which analyzes 10 variables, notably:<\/p>\n \u201cThese are the guidelines followed by international evaluation committees upon which a score is assigned,\u201d Dr. Daniels added. \u201cWe must implement, in a creative and effective manner, the recommendations and suggestions in the various evaluated programs. The discipline of Medicine in the UdG network obtained a score of 9.15 out of a maximum of 10.<\/p>\n The President of the UdG, Tonatiuh Bravo Padilla, was present at the ceremony recognizing this important university. He mentioned strategies implemented by his educational institution to improve the level of preparation of students and professors, the quality of programs and the organizational and governing practices. These strategies serve to affirm the quality of education given to students.<\/p>\n \u201cWith this success, 91.2% of registered students pursuing a degree and senior university technician diploma will take part in these evaluated educational programs that are of a recognized quality\u201d, highlighted President Bravo Padilla.<\/p>\n The 12 degree programs that have received international accreditation are a part of International Relations from the University Center of Social Sciences and Humanities (CUCSH) and the eight graduate programs of international competence are part of the National Quality of Graduate Studies program from CONACYT.
